Went exploring the rooftops of NUS last night with a friend.
It was amazing.
For a person who is totally unadventurous and rarely does anything more exciting than organising camps for children, this was awesome.
(And as he was nice enough to point out, there are alot of hidey-holes in NUS for illicit affairs)
From the rooftop of AS7, it seems like the entire city is OUT THERE and we're... standing here
It's a hard experience to replicate for someone who does not live on campus. To us NUS is the be all and end of all the universe, you don't go out.
You eat there, you go to school there, you study there, you sleep there.
Your life is NUS.
And standing on the rooftop made me see that NUS doesn't even have demarcated boundaries or designated fences akin to secondary school wherethe campus is closed off.
We flow into the city.
Yet i don't.
